Transfer Alert! Carson Hilt Transfers to ISU and Joins Brother, Trevor

Illinois State Redbirds welcome Carson Hilt to the family! Hilt, a 6’2″ 161 lb. forward is a Hawthorne Woods, IL native. He joins the Redbirds after a successful season with the Iowa State D3 Cyclones.

Hilt chose ISU because of the nice campus, great people, and a very strong hockey program. He intends to be a finance major. His favorite coach was Coach McPherren, “He was very knowledgeable on the game and really cared about our improvement, ” Hilt states. Carson’s biggest supporter is his mother. Hilt’s favorite hockey memory was playing against (and locking down) the future first-round NHL prospect Connor Bedard while playing at Harvard University’s rink.

“We are excited to have Carson become a part of our program, he will have an instant impact on the program and we look forward to helping him continue to grow!” – Coach Chris Prewitt

We cannot wait to see the Hilt brothers suit up in the red and white this upcoming season!
